Hard groundwater in Dhaka, Gazipur and Narayanganj scales cooling tower fill, condenser tubes and boiler surfaces. MSF softeners exchange calcium and magnesium for sodium in FRP vessels with automatic brine regeneration on volume or time.
Simplex, duplex and twin-alternating configurations give uninterrupted soft water for 24-hour plants.
